Yes, I was recounting to someone at the 4th of July party I went to that I have a 'gift' (curse) of being able to 'play' the actual song in my mind when I'm playing, so I am in effect 'playing along with the record' ... which, of course, becomes a problem when I'm jamming with someone who hasn't memorized the song!
