Yes... that's sort of the vibe. I tried a few different titles including 'Tomorrow,' too. Maybe just plain 'Tomorrow.' That would be a great answer to 'Yesterday.'

hmmm... it does fit well, and seems to make sense logically. I'd say it's the strongest contender, but knowing me, I'll probably step outside of what may be the best fit on this one. The ideas that everyone has suggested have definitely helped rattle more ideas loose. Thanks for taking the time to offer up your ideas!

OK - for those still paying attention, I've come to a decision on a title.

'After The War'

And here's why - I think it best sets the mood for the song in describing what has happened leading up to the beginning of the story, plus it satisfies my goal of being independent from the lyrics. The "War" is very open to interpretation, too. It could represent anything from a global military conflict to a personal battle drawn out within the drama of a dysfunctional home.

So there you have it.

who said you needed our help? a fine name... war - conflict..... I was going to suggest "I came, I saw and I conked out' but that was too much like my life a few weeks ago.... anyhow I glad it has a name now!
