Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try it out.
We were setting up the gear when a one of the PA bass bins slipped out of my hands, I tried to catch it but it fell to the floor jamming the index finger on my left hand beneath it.
The bass bin is fine but my finger is now Jetglo, and I'm off for xrays tomorrow, methinks it's broken, and we have a massive gig coming up on the 8th August. :(

Anyone know and Django Reinhardt licks I can learn?

The lead guitarist in the band tried the amp out whilst I sat in the corner and cried.
It is truly a fantastic amp, definitely a keeper, and boy is it LOUD!

That is good news. You'll just be sore for a couple of weeks then, instead of six or eight. :)

Best of luck with that finger Rob. Broke my picking fist once, and had them set the cast in a way where I could still hold a pick without sanding off the face of the guitar. After several strap height adjustments, I found a spot I could play most of the stuff we did at, and changed the set a little untill it was cut off. Hope your misfortune heals itself quickly, despite the Scottish commentary

Rob,

Good to hear there's no break. I had a very similar experience last year and know exactly how you feel (at least physically). Hope you heal up nice and quickly for the big gig!
