Suggestions for cap and push/pull pot install?

Kurt,

Could you relay exactly what you did to wiring your bass like that. It seems like the most interesting idea yet. I usually have the volume on full so this may come in handy for me

I think Mark Arnquist had posted a mod whereby you used your "Ric-o-Sound" input jack to give you a capped sound, and the regular jack bypassed the cap, for a more modern tone. I always thought that was interesting, but I never tried it.

You solder the cap ends across the hot in and hot out lugs on the pot like this: http://www.seymourduncan.com/website/support/schematics/treble_bleed_mod.html

Though as a side note the treble bleed diagram I originally found (and can't find now) used a .001 cap (opposed to the .002 indicated on the Duncan diagram) and no resistor. I didn't use a resistor at any rate, just the .0047 cap.

Also note that the hot in and out pot lugs are reversed on Rickenbackers (or at least on mine, and probably all with two volume controls a la Fender Jazz) but this doesn't make a difference with the mod.
