Ah ive never seen one of these in the UK and obviously never played one either and I didnt know that you could do different string combinations.Cool.Glad you got out your OOs for that one.I never even thought about different string variations,you learn something new everyday.Thanks

Does it play better than the V64 you sold me? When I'm next in Orlando, I better see this thing! What strings are on it?

Jake - you have no idea how well this guitar plays. No contest with anything post 60's. It had D'adds on it, so as always, I changed the A octave and G fundamental to .018w's.

Those Convertibles all have such a unique sound. And of course, most any 60's 12'er is bound to play great. Can't wait to give that one a strum duder. When would be a good time?
