Nice work Wes. I was gonna say I dig the lo-fi feel of it but that ancient humour would be lost on some.
Oh I guess I did say it. Just kidding Wes.

Why Wes? That bass is a beauty. Are you buying something else?1965 wrote:Thanks guys. As a side note, this bass is for sale in the Marketplace.
I'm looking to pick up one of these, and one lens for it costs as much as this bass.winston wrote:Why Wes? That bass is a beauty. Are you buying something else?

You'll probably find that as you get older, you'll like more music that you didn't like before. Happens with other stuff too, like food. Though, some things go the opposite way.cassius987 wrote:Sorry, I'm not and probably never will be a big Beatles fan, but I can respect and appreciate them.
Because I shoot with a digital SLR everyday. A big SLR that makes shutter flaps and requires a larger lens is pretty un-discreet for street photography. RFs are smaller, quieter, lighter, easier to focus quickly. Digital has it's place, but for artful photography I like doing everything manual and getting back to basics.morrow wrote:Uh ... why would you want a rangefinder film camera in today's digital world ?
Cool! I'm looking for an M6 classic in chrome and a 35mm Summicron f/2 lens, doesn't have to be the newer aspherical version. Let me know. Thanks, Jeff.jps wrote:I take it you are looking for a used one? Let me know what lens you are interested in, A friend of mine has lots of Leica gear that is barely used!
Back when I took a lot of pictures, I found I was a lot more all-around creative using b&w film and a manual camera. With color I tended to ease off because of the interplay of the colors in the shot. An automatic takes you toward mindless point-and-shoot.1965 wrote:Because I shoot with a digital SLR everyday. Isn't that being redundant?1965 wrote:Summicron f/2
Yeah, Summicron almost always = f/2, just wanted to be as specific as possiblejps wrote:Isn't that being redundant?1965 wrote:Summicron f/2![]()
Summicron indicates f/2 in most cases.
