Very cool to see that letter from F.C. Hall.

I have a signed detailed letter re. pickups and info package from President John Hall dated September 13th 1984. I was wondering what the actual day in September 1984 was that he took over the company? Does anyone know?

I think it's really something to have the CEO of a company such as Rickenbacker take the time to reply to individual correspondence. That's something you just don't see. This is continued today of course with John Hall contributing occasionally here and on the company forum. It's definitely part of what makes this company a little different than the all others. I think they care about their product and the customer just a little bit more. That goes along way in my book especially in this day and age.

That's my birthday! My first B-day living in Los Angeles, too.

Hey, I been to there man.

We have the entire DVD set of Danger man & The Prisoner. No am not willing to see. Sorry. My wife got 'em for a song and a dance on Ebay. A friend of ours comes over practically every Sunday..we sit down and watch a classic Doctor Who episode...then The Prisoner. WE finally went through the Prisoner series..now we're watching Doctor and Danger Man. We have been doing this for about 1 1/2 years. So we are now in the Peter Davison era (for any Whovians out there). I don't have all of the Doctor Who episodes..unfortunately. Most of the episodes I don't have...are in the two ultimate box sets. That's pretty dzm ironic I tell you. The reception was absolutely horrendous on some these episodes we even had to skip a couple it was so hard on the eyes. Oh well. I can't help about the shape I'm in.

I remember watching the first episode of Dr.Who with my brother way back in the steam TV days.
One of my favourite Dr. Who moments was in a later Who where the Doctor is chasing the Daleks through time.
The Tardis tracks the Daleks to a deserted boat and after a good look around the Dr. gets back in the Tardis as the camera pans accross the bow of the vessel...yes its the Marie Celeste.
Its as good an answer to the mystery as anyone else has come up with.
