Well it is just one of the potential properties we are looking at. The drive is a bit far from work but worth it (IMO). Again, it is still up in the air for the moment. My wife has always wanted horses and having a driveway as long as a dragstrip has a certain appeal to me as well. I'm not much of a people person so being able to barely see my neighbor's house has a certain attraction. It could be quite a good place for a Ric gathering in the future.

Sounds like a plan! Do you have your Christmas Tree lights, yet?

Glad you are back with a Wal again, Brian. The notice of manufacturing the Wal's again probably have affected the sale of used ones, plus the economy. Enjoy it!

It looks like those Fox Trotters would be perfect for Brian and Jen!
How are they at drag racing?

Uh-Oh! Just got a call from my realtor and we are one step closer to a deal for our house. Not over yet but it's looking good. I may have spoke to soon on the Wal.....maybe I'm not destined to own one for any length of time.

I may call the music store and see if I can nix the deal before they ship. They expected more $$$$ for it so it may be an attractive deal for them.....if not I'll be prepared to flip as soon as/if the ink is on the papers.
DRATS.....sorta.
Anyone want an LK, Mockingbird, Mesa 400+, Mesa Powerhouse 1200 cabinet, Shure wireless, etc., etc., etc.,.......

I'll buy the LK for 10% more than you paid for it. I figure, with inflation and all, not to mention the few mods, that is being fair to you.

Thanks for the generous offer! It sounds like the serious offer/pitch from another forumite when I contemplated parting with it a while ago.
I hope it doesn't come to a complete clearinghouse but, as I've said, there are more important things in life and I can sound like just as much of a hack on any bass I play. The last "toy" I'll part with is my GN but even that isn't completely safe when it comes to what I'll part with in a scramble to raise some cash to make this all work out.
The Wal will be here Wednesday and, hopefully, I'll know whether I have to flip it or not by then.

Two just sold at auction, (Barrett-Jackson, I think).

I hope you don't have to flip it, because you want it and appreciate it, but it sounds like the most important things in life are obvious to you

That's my theory exactly. I can play anything and still sound like a hack.

Doesn't matter...can cost $200 or $2000 and I'll still hit the notes wrong in certain songs.

Best of luck on the deal, Brian.
