I know looks aren't everything, but I can't get over the body shape of some Steinies. The headless thing is fine by me... but for some reason a good body is quite important to me.

Still, I'd sure love to try one out some day. They have always called to me, especially the ones with a bit more interesting body shapes.

I agree. That's why I stay with Ricks and PBasses. The Stein is not very comfortable standing. That moulded appendage puts the base in an awkward position for me. Others like it though. Same reason I stay with 21 fret guitars. It's where both my hands end up. Sitting with the Stein is surprisingly comfortable. They do look cool though.
