The small heel is the nearest to the RM.
Incidentally,one of the big differences in my opinion between the V and the RM is the thickness of the headstock.
The CS is the closest I have found to the RM in this detail.
The V has a much thicker headstock than the CS and it must have a bearing on tone and sustain.
Has anyone had a first hand look at one of the "Japanese 1999s" ?
