Here's the unfinished one when it used to be a working five string, between the two rick "goons" in my mancave. It then went to Crisman who had plans for making it an eight stringer but he bailed. I found some other fivers to replace it with though.

Wow, the new bass rooms looks great. I counted 17.75 Rics!

Hope you have a good security system -or a bit mastiff sitting outside the door. :)

LOL, I was thinking ONE of the kids rooms.....especially the one with the view of the lake. BUT, alas...looks like about 8 more years before he finishes school.

by the way Paul, WHAT stands are you using? I'd love to get one that has wheels and will hold a few basses at a time.

Thanks!

That would be my truck, Tony! Send all your basses up and I'll haul them around for ya! (especially the '71 'burg! )

Tony, they are Quick-Lok and I got them from Full Compass:

http://www.fullcompass.com/product/249259.html

Jeff Scott had one of these early on, and they're really nice. Yeah, I may have to buy one more soon. They come in 3, 5, or 7 stalls. The wheels work fine and can be easily removed if you wanted to place the stand on a table at a confluence or such (done that). Fairly inexpensive, too.

LOL, I need to have wheels on them, when a hurricane warning comes...we can make our quick escape!

Thanks for the link Paul!

I'll probably just get one for 5, I could NEVER display them all at once. Makes them too easy for the boss to count 'em.

Paul, that room looks great. As a fellow bass player, all I can say is, keep up the good work. Mark
