I am pretty certain those toasters are hot ones given the era.

Thanks Melissa. If I am not mistaken the hot toasters have 4 Phillips head screws in the corners holding them together, and the scatter-wounds have slotted screws.

Interesting.... Just looked at my V64 again, and the neck toaster has slotted screws in the corners, and the bridge toaster has phillips screws. Is it possible I have one of each? Maybe a past owner has swapped out a hot toaster for a scatterwound one at the neck....

I am not sure 100% but this is what I have read here somewhere. As usual there probably are no absolutes. Measuring the resistance would be the accurate way to tell.melibreits wrote:Interesting....
