Wow Paul--you really ARE picky about your guitars!

Yes, if he were an actor, he'd be in a movie remake titled "Double Bound For Glory" ...

Same here... 10 USD isn't even 10 EUR
lol @ the film name! Good one
Some forums have a link to Paypal or something - I'm sure some people would rather drop a few bucks into a Paypal account than get a shirt or cd?

Actually, there are over 600 registered members who logged-in in the past week...
Perhaps Rickenbacker could donate an instrument so there would be no need to collect money and participate in illegal gambling

Illegal gambling? Did I miss the Rickresource lottery?

Good idea... I've decided to sell my 480 JG from 1975, 10% of sales price as forum donation!

Werner: Your contribution is gratefully appreciated and will go toward costs for the upcoming CD3. I thank you for this kindness especially during these most difficult of times.
Tom: Your comments go straight to the heart and it is genuineness such as this that keeps me coming back for more.

Well, dreaming never hurts.
As i see it, if there were such a game, then perhaps two "conditions" could be appropriate.
1. The winner should be an active posting member. Say, has been here for at least a year and had posted at least 500 messages.
2. The winner should be an "average member" — i. e. not a moderator or a consultant.
PS: that was a joke, guys. Not a very good one, i know.

How about at least 10,000 posts?
