I don't think it's the legal issue. For some reason(imo) they think his fan base is 12 year olds. So they think it will just cause trouble. The other issue, I think in Westchester is it's just so blues based here. No room for us punk rockers.

Not sure how it works in other areas but, in NY you have to prove your draw. Some places make you guarantee them a certain amount of people(if not, you may have to pay to play). Some places ask at the door who you're coming to see, and if you don't have a minimum, they cut your set. It's a nasty game. Nothing like the late 70's, early 80's where folks would show up at CBGB's or Max's Kansas City on a Thursday night because it was the place to be. Then the band just had to prove themselves to the people.
