The Mangans are great strings . I especially like the 12 set that are Pure Nickel wrap. Stay in tune , feel good and have a classic sound amplified.

In December of '66 (I was 16), I bought my first name-brand guitar, a Vox Phantom XII, after having started on a no-name Mexican classical, then a Kawai-made (I think) St. George electric. I used Rickenbacker flatwounds on the Vox, and I used to break octave-G's all the time!

anyone got an opinion on the 'pramid gold' 12 string flats.
are the TI's plectrum extra light more suitable?
