He runs a Toaster in the neck position and a Jazz pickup in the bridge position. I honestly don't think it could affect tone very much--Scott Pope once used a Jazz pickup that was not mounted to show me how position really sets the tone more than the pickup itself. Chris Brubeck may have picked it to be RWRP against the Toaster.
