Thanks guys,
The 110-220 wiring job was done and it looks like everything went fine with the conversion (the amp turns on, the light turns with the fan, etc...)
When I put it out of standby mode there is a REALLY loud hum, REALLY REALLY loud even when the volume is down.
We looked some more and it seems that the left power tube (when looking from behind) is dead :(
I don't know if that is the cause for the hum but I guess it's not a good sign...

I am going to take it next week to a tech a few friends recommended on and see what he has to say, I guess I'll need to buy a tubes set now :(

I am taking comfort in the fact that it actually arrived...

Congrats Gill! I thought my 200 Marshall Tube watt's where much for the living room but apparantly one needs louder these days. ;-)
