Yes, the lighting with the sun in the back definitely exposes the routed headstock. In most situations, it's not that obvious. For utility purposes, I like the feature, since I am far less likely to scratch the finish while cutting the strings, like I did with my 360-12.
I will do a more thorough A/B comparison at some point in the future, with just the guitars. These days I have been taking the Ric out to sing and play like this, so this is my current "Ric mode". My initial impression is the toasters have more "jingle" and the hi-gains have more "jangle", both of which I love.
