Here are few more pics in the meantime...
Should be quite a story! :)

Now, Jeff, don't be silly!

I've got it narrowed down to a semi-famous bass player whose initials are "PM" -- or this.

PS Scratch that bass player. His "real" first name is James.

That's hilarious Scott!!! I'd love to hear that!

Yes BaDRonBoY...replaced gaurd...some fretwear on the A, D and G strings...the most prominent wear is on the D string!

No wear at all on the E frets...???

Thanks Teeds!

joizy, huh ? we played a club in perth amboy. baz from skid row (a fellow buddy torontonian) came a did some tunes with us, had our singer on his shoulders, slipped on some water on the stage and all came crashing down hard !

very nice bass ! does it have flats or rounds ? my '64 would not intonate with rounds so i had to move the tailpiece back. is your serial number covert or can you tell the world ?

plm sounds like a '70's italian rock band.

sorry, it was club bene, south amboy and studio one , north newark in 1990...i feel elderly !

you gots an earlier bass...mine's DK-581. how does the horsey sound level wise compared to the toaster ?

only bands i could find was "perfect like me" ( a current bunch o' kids) or "peoples liberation music" started in 1973 with ties to jamie muir of king crimson and the european continent. mysterious !
