NME Poll Winners '64. Even though Lennon flubbed "You Can't Do That," they bounce back like pros and, being at the top of their game, absolutely kill.

You needn't feel that way, you know. I tried it without a capo just to see what would happen. Using the open A pair of strings, you can get some kind of raga rock thing going. Anyway, it's just my way of a different take on a song.Ric-O-Buc wrote:Wow - I feel like a dork. I've been playing that song for years, and never used a capo.

I love how they sound like they were really into it compared to later shows where they began to sound bored. When I see these, I can get a sense of what being at the Cavern was all about.
