OK, these are not mine:
- worn 4005 FG
- worn 375 FG - this one is HOT
- worn 375 - rear view
...and this one is. (Mine.)
- my 370/12 Walnut
Maybe you can't tell from this photo, but it is really. Beat. Up.

Hard to see the wear on this 4001S in this pic. Up close, it looks someone painted it with a spray can and a brush...well that's probably what someone did!

I respectfully disagree. Because this is a Rickenbacker thread, I won't post any pictures of my 1967 Gibson ES-335TDC here, but I can tell you that I have played it, so it has some 'battle scars', but it still looks great because I have loved it and taken good care of it over the 41 years that I have owned it.

My "beater" '76 has a similar issue:
It's been repaired and seems quite stable, even with Rotosounds
Other than that, it's got a number of dings and chips, amateurishly repaired with some sort of dark blue stuff:
All in all, it's a great player. Maybe some day I'll get it refinished...

At least it's still in the SoCal Rick family and you get get to see it sometimes, even play it if you wanted to.
