Without getting into specifics, I can only say that acquiring a 330 will bring much happiness to your life. When I got mine, I was both joyful, and somewhat sorrowful that I waited that long to get a Ric.

Succinct and so very true.steverok wrote:When I got mine, I was both joyful, and somewhat sorrowful that I waited that long to get a Ric.

wow thanks for all the positive feedback fellas. I think what I'll do is keep my eye out for a 330FG but if I happen upon a 12 string I may snag that instead.

I have 2 FG 330-12s. When I bought my 1st one in '92 I played every Ric in the store. (about 30) Of the 325s, 360s, 381s, 620s, etc., the best look, tone, & feel for me was the 330. I got the best of the bunch. Now I use the 360 more in the studio & the 330s more onstage.

I played a 330 once and I was like 14. I haven't seen one in any stores since which sucks, unless its used and even then that is a rarity. I played a V series 325 and loved it but it was very expensive and the price on those only seem to be going up. I remember being able to buy a used 330 for just over 700. Where did those days go to?
