Very nice, Collin! How is the versatility?

Mike Campbell was another Gretsch 6120DC player. He never took it out on the road, but used it exclusively for some of the tracks on "Long After Dark", "Southern Accents" and "Let Me Up (I've Had Enough), including "You Got Lucky":

Not very, surprisingly.

It has flatwounds on it right now (as it always has), and it's much more "mellow" of a player than stuff like my Rics or Gibson ES335's. It doesn't do harsh string bending, because of the floating bridge moving), but that is all a good thing.

I wouldn't want all my guitars to do the same thing or sound the same way. This one's great for mellow chord work, Jazz, and obviously....Rockabilly kinda stuff.
