Do tell - what are the differences, like with LOTL?

i'm afraid i was one of the people who found them to be very very very imitative back when they first came out,but also liked them quite a bit because they were extremely talented and were making very interesting music-but i never ended up buying their records. flash forward 40 or so years,and i am hearing them again on pandora and thinking-wow! especially mr strater's sound and technique-great songs,playing,arrangements....and i can appreciate them more on their own merits now.

john...can't describe the differences...you'd have to hear it. i prefer the original as it made more sense, yet i heard the lp first, so i guess that makes me biased.

woody...loved strater's crunchy sound. a very busy player he was.
