I've got a Digitech Jam Man like this 'un:
They're available for $249.00 retail, saw a couple on the 'Bay for half that. Lots of features and memory.

I got a look at one of those today, and the salesman recommended it highly. Mic jack and USB connection pretty slick.

That is the other on our lead guitarist has.

The Digitech also has a replaceable/upgradeable memory chip, so you can warehouse loops. USB lets you transfer loops and mixes to/from a hard drive.

Anybody here remember magnetic tape?

That must be the model with a "Talent" knob.

All right, I've taken a few baby steps and cloned myself to play simple rhythm patterns. Will this warp the Space-Time continuum, I wonder ...

It was the Echoplex that started it all, if you ask me. But Les Paul might have something to add if he was here.

I believe he used Ampex 300 series decks.

He probably invented looping.
