well.. just wasn't happy with the set that was on the 620..

so I changed them.. to D'Addario 10's..

and a definite improvement.. brighter .. and unless I'm crazy... guitar seems to be in better tune..

so maybe the strings that were on it.. were just ... OLD

I'll try a set of compressed rounds again.. sometime.. that are new! and see how they sound.. ( along with flatwound, pyramids. Curtis M.. etc ) ..

but for now.. if I can get good tone.. out of strings that are: $12 for a 3 pack.. works for me.!

just got my guitar back from being set up at andy brauer's famed guitar shop. had the 360V64 12-string set up with Rotosound strings from the UK, 9's.
feel great, sound great, light to the touch, but you still feel some 'umpf' to the touch. i think i will keep it strung with these. made in the UK, and under $12 a pack for 12 string set.
