Thanks to all, for your comments and warm welcome. My wife keeps burning the toast, and I explained to her that you're not SUPPOSED to have to scrape it with a knife every time. Her phony excuse was that we need a new toaster, so I told her not to worry, and that I'd get ahold of Rickenbacker and order THREE of them - just in case. Our marriage is saved. THANKS, Rickenbacker!!
