OffTopic: Is this an English word also? I allways thought "gratis" was Dutch (only) and English speaking people say something like "for free".

Well, in Brooklyn, and in this case, it probably means....he's adding it to my friend's bill, instead of charging me...and for that grateful...

Thanx. Good to hear I can use this word in English too. The Dutch just love this word. ;-)

Things like "take 3 and get one gratis" allways work over here. (It does not even matter that the shop first doubled prices for this product.)

Here are the routes...I was actually happy that I asked him to route out the whole cavity, but he looked at the assembly and only routed what was needed. The guitar will be set up tomorrow. Then we'll see if it meets the kids expectations

So here's the finished guitar (are projects ever really finished?) The kid is happy. Personally I think it sounds like a Strat with humbuckers. I think what I am happiest about is that I can reverse the entire project.Besides the small amount of routing, and re-soldering the ground to the bridge, the guitar can easily be brought back to stock.

Thanks to all for advice and help.

Thanks!

They are concentric. However, they're the only thing I'd like to replace. I'd like to find a set that attached better and turned independently with greater ease.
