Rest in Peace, Ronaldo James Padovan.

For those interested, I started a similar thread over at the Groove Yard subforum with a brief history of Ronnie Dio starting with his early career as a white doo-wop vocalist in the late 1950s up to about 1972 with Elf. Some YouTube clips are included from his days with Ronnie & The Red Caps and then Ronnie Dio & The Prophets; Dio like you've never heard him before! A true Rock & Roll survivor if there ever was one.

Rolling Stone needs to be stopped. In their obituary for Dio that said he "was known for his high falsetto". Um...

I stopped by Sam Ash today to get a speaker cable for my amp and they were playing Holy Diver. Apparently they were doing all Dio all day in the store.................what a voice!
