My '64 460 is my workhorse - home, studio, and gigs. I couldn't imagine locking it away.

I think there is common sense. Having gear ripped on several times in my life I think it is about trying to be smart. Don't leave your best vintage guitars in rehearsal spaces etc. But use them for all the special occasions like Gigs and stuff. I leave **** gear down at the space then I do not care if it gets ripped off ansd use my killer vintage gear for live and recording and home.

I hope there's a special 7734 for guitar thieves or any creep who steals the tools of someone else's trade!
