Sorry Hal----I forgot to say last night, get well soon!! That is terrible. Were you walking or driving when you were hit?

Back in the early 90s when I used to commute on bicycle(and was in shape) I was hit by cars a few times. I usually ended up sprawled on the hood of their cars, staring right in their faces thru the windshield. They always had a shocked look on their faces. I would pound my fist into their hoods, making a nice dent or two, then crawl off and check out my bike right in front of their car, then continue my journey. They never ever said anything about the damage I inflicted on their hood, what could they say? Ah good times.

Back from the apothecary. Geez. Just doing a normal mundane thing becomes an adventure. Now that I'm back I've remembered things I should have gotten whilst there. But now its too late.

Thanks Collin I got plenty of good will and amusement from your observation about Skip's accidentally censored post.
I was crossing the street in front of a car stopped at a stop sign waiting on traffic. He must have been preoccupied because he waited for the cars to pass then decided to go whilst I was still crossing in front of his vehicle.

Glad you're okay and here to post about it, Hal. Mend up quickly!
