But seriously folks, in our case anyway, we aren't pretending to be The Beatles, in fact no mention of them is made during the show. We just try to create a vibe and replicate the music as closely as possible. And having been together since 1992, won Best Cover Band in the Austin Music Awards 7 times, and still playing to packed houses, I can tell you the people must be having a good time. That's all we care about. Oh, and the money.

Personally, I can tell you I got VERY tired MANY years ago of constantly being asked if I had to learn to play bass left-handed in order to join The Eggmen. Still get that question almost every night.
My stock answer:
1. I'm left-handed.
2. I didn't join the band, I started it.

I really should have business cards printed up that I could just hand out every time I get asked that question.

Saw Rain a few years ago (my daughter took me). The only hint of left-handedness at that time was this:
During Yesterday, they flipped the side-stage video screens so that the right-handed acoustic guitarist appeared left-handed.

It was a fun night; shed tears during a couple songs. What I do not get is why Beatles bands/shows perform Imagine.

well guys, being left-handed is not easy. Ask me how I know. first of all, I was never able to afford a proper left-handed guitar when growing up in the 1960's, (American electric or Spanish classical), I could hardly afford a right-handed one from any country !!

It was only during the 1970's that I started to be able to buy them or trade them, and by then, I was used to playing upside-down guitars, and it didn't matter anymore how the guitar body was oriented.

Yes I always envied Paul McCartney for having a proper left-handed instrument, but my father ( a violinist himself) always said, "it's not how it looks, it's how you play it son".

must be because 98% of the public doesn't know when The Beatles broke up, and they imagine that "Imagine" is/was a Beatles' recording.
