Thank you!
In addition, in that first year she introduced me to some great musical artists I didn't quite know yet. We saw some great shows together! I can thank her for several Larry Coryell shows, Jean-Luc Ponty, the Chick Corea/Herbie Hancock tour, and some other wonderful jazz shows that I never would have seen.

Several of us are very fortunate to have the women and Rickenbacker, amoung other things in our lives. Let's be thankful!

You need to come to Cleveland sometime and check out
Night Town. Great restaurant/jazz club. We have seen lots of great artists there over the years, here is a sample from the first time we saw JLP there, the second time was during MICRIO. Several forumites have been to Night Town, now.

BTW the first time I ever saw JLP was in '72 when he was in The Mothers Of Invention!

Sounds like a cool place! And 1972? Wow! The first time I saw Ponty (1977) he not only had Steve Smith drumming but also had Joachim Lievano (along with Daryl Sturmer) playing guitar. A great band!

Today is the 19th aniversary of my marriage to my wife Carla. I said it before and I'll say it again, I don't know how she has managed to put up with me this long. She got me a Sony sound system with a docking station for my Ipod. This, knowing full well that the only music on the Ipod is the Beatles, which she doesn't care for. I am a lucky man, and I try to make sure that she knows I feel that way. Mark

I have a CD of his! Great music.
I have also seen JLP in '79, IIRC, with Patrice Rushen, I think Allan Holdsworth, or maybe Daryl, I can't remember which, and, a few years ago, with TRIO! which was JLP, Stanley Clarke and Bela Fleck!!!
