Got it a little while ago – old analog meter is showing what it did before!

I owe you an adult beverage!

I will be interested to see if the screw happens anywhere else…a set screw was used as the anchor point for the wire. Since I bought it from Chuck Levin's in '74 it has never been touched out of my sight save a fret dressing. I picked it out of a stack in the basement of the store - so I would assume that it came from the factory that way.....

Believe me if we lived closer we be doin bass duets and beers right about now (eastcoast time).
