Rickresource Rickenbacker Forum

I wonder how many of these have wound up with Rickenbacker truss rod covers over the years? I could see someone buying a gutted Electro or Ryder project guitar and automatically assume it's a Rickenbacker and add a Rick TRC during the restoration. Are there any known examples of this being done?
