Odd, the link "Related story from 2008" in that one has absolutely nothing to do about anything in the original ... it's about "too many ducks" ...

I have seen enough episodes of Cops and like shows to know that things can escalate way out of control quickly in those situations. Here's hoping for the full recovery of the person shot, and a reasonable closure of the incident for all involved.

Regardless of the characters involved, or the story as presented; it’s a terrible thing when situations descend into a case of someone getting hurt badly.

Looks like his bail is set at $50,000 and his wife's at $25,000.

There's a group of friends and supporters over on Beat Gear Cavern forum who are organizing to see what they can do to help Dale and his family. Somebody posted that they'll be freed on Tuesday. There's talk of a paypal donation drive to help with legal defense. If anybody here wants to help, they should probably check in over there. It's nice to see friends coming to his aid.

I live in the Portland area and have come to know Dale. Take it from those of us who live here and know him have a completely different story as to what happened to his family.

Dale is still posting on another forum but is not allowed to discuss details and is under house arrest away from his shop.

At this point, I don't think there is much more to discuss.

I'm going to lock it down before something is said that could complicate
