I used to have the little Melody Maker version in this photo. It was in a custom bright orange color called "California Coral". It was a cool little guitar but the neck was like playing the thick end of a Louisville Slugger and the pick up squealed whenever it was overdriven. I parted with it to help finance my 330/12. If I can find a photo of it I'll post it.
Wow,that sounds cool! I have heard of that color but I have never seen it.I would love to see a photo if you can find one.
