I was thinkin # 3 as well

They all sound good with a professional at the wheel!

my guess is #3 for the Rickenbacker.
but if we're wrong ,boy are we all gonna feel like a bunch of doofusses (doofi? deefs?) what is the plural of doofus anyway
excellent playing though on all of them.

I was thinking the reverse order, as #3 seemed so bright I figured it for the digital sound of the Line 6.

When I get older losing my ears....

I deny getting older as long as I can blame it on my speakers.

I thought number 3 had the octave strings below.

Number 1 I got right.

what do I win?

The first one sounded really 'digital' to me, which I notice quite clearly at bends and slides. It doesn't cope well with it.
It's the first time I actually hear a variax guitar, and I'm really impressed. In a live situation you can get away with it for sure.

The one thing I learned from this is how to spel "doofus".

And that I can't tell a Fender from a RIC.
