Here you go! Didn't get fancy with the photography, but you get the idea. I threw in a picture of the Triple Threat at the end, i.e. my '08 4003FL, wife's '09 330 and my '10 4003.

Sweet!! Happy mwahing! I see RIC is leaving off the 19th fret fingerboard position for the vintage look on the recent FL basses too. Cool! Congrats and enjoy it, Jason! :)

And soon, very soon, I will get to see them and play them and -- even -- work on them. In person. Why, with a trio like that (dare I say it?) I, could...RULE THE WORLD!!!! Mwahhh-hah-hah-ha!!

Yes, Scott and what a glorious rule it shall be! Jangle & Growl as far as the eye can see and the ear can hear! :D :D :D

Jason, that looks like a really good bass. I really hope it's everything you wanted and then some.

If you ever find that (using rounds on it) there are wolf notes that can't be explained, I took mine (made in the same run of yours) to a Denver luthier I really trust. He saw some unevenness in the clear varnish so he is going to sand it flat for me. Just thought I'd tell you, as for over a year I've wondered why, with rounds more than flats, why the 6th semitone on the G string sounded rather wolf-y if played a certain way. Turns out there was a tiny "pit" in the CV there.

Thanks Joshua & to all for the nice comments. I will keep that in mind. I know Scott knows a good luthier in Springfield if I need it, but I guess the only catch is he'll have to get it finished in a day if I drive down. BTW, what is the exact definition of a "wolf note"? Also, is Scott a fretless player?

A wolf note is the opposite of a dead note; it is a note that is louder than surrounding notes.

I couldn't have articulated it that succinctly, thanks Jeff.

Not technically speaking but he knows what he's doing so it doesn't matter much--he can pick mine up and sound pretty good from the get-go. Actually, so have a lot of non-fretless players, thanks to the side dots and fast action. My former bandmate was really pleased with how playable he found my 4003FL, and he was a guitarist.
