Thanks Sergio, but I just (as of about 15 minutes ago) bought Stephane's toaster he advertised in the for sale section!

Yes, I just dropped in on the 'Rickenbackers For Sale' topic. Well, if ever you can use my pickups on a future 4001/4003 project please don't hesitate to advise.
A toaster pickup, anyone?

No real update other than to say I just scored a genuine RIC truss rod cover from my local music store for a measly 30 bucks. Sweet! It's not the correct one (it's the raised-letter variety), but I'll send it back to the factory for a vintage style one.
Also got the toaster from Stephane - it looks sweet!
Now I'm just waiting on my badger 400 spray gun (it's at badger getting refurbed)...
Also, I know I need to get some pics on here asap.

Sergio,
What do you charge to make toasters? I might consider one to replace the high gain in my '73...

Hi, Gene.
Well, I think you already know the answer to that question: nothing. You can have a toaster pickup for your 1973 Rick for free. Any special requirements regarding specifications?
