Yeah, too bad for Julie, it would have been nice if she'd gotten more. That price is almost in range of something I could go for, kinda wish I had now. :( Glad to hear it's "staying in the family" though...

Let's face it, most vintage guitars have been overpriced and it's the beginning of a economic depression.

I tried to put a bid for the bass, but the auction - despite the description - was limited to UK residents. Maybe was a mistake in compiling the field during the opening.

The UK market is pretty depressed at present, no question. Any prospective buyer should have mailed Pete G and asked for Julie's number to talk personally to her.

Shame it didn't fetch more given the circumstances, but it's good it's staying in the forum.
