Well, you can come close to that with Olivia that has a Sea Green V63 for sale. They seem to have had it for quite a while and I think the high price is why. It's not up on eBay right now, but occasionally comes back around.
Yea, I've inquired about it. They would let it go for $4,000.00, which is still overpriced I think.

What bugs me a little is that they had this same bass for sale about a year and a half ago and it had the original unfilled warranty card. They sold it, got it back, but without the card. They don't know what happened to it. :(

The other thing about this particular bass is the truss rods appear to be maxed out. Not sure what's going to materialize down the road.
If Mozart were with us today, he'd play a Fireglo 4001C64! ~~~*~~~ Beethoven, on the other hand, would play a Matte Jetglo 4001C64S!

Well, the unfilled out warranty card is little more than a collector's curiosity and it's invalid when buying a used instrument. Since Olivia's isn't an authorized dealer, any Rick they sell is technically used and without warranty...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Yes, that is correct. But I would've like the complete unfilled warranty card just the same.

Yes, they certainly wood would! :D

McCool. 8)

How did you (a) go about painting the Magical Mystery Tour tribute and (b) find the sticker for the Wings tribute?

The one with the gold plated parts really is nice, too.

Our very own Paul Wilczynski did the work. The MMT is painted and then had a CV applied. The Red Rose Speedway is not a sticker it is also hand painted with an ambered matte finish.

I have a 4001C64S in a FG satin finish. I am not sure how rare that is, though.

Yep, and the bass is also like, 10 years old.

WOW! The black binding, pickguard, and TRC look great. And I'm not a big fan of black trim, but that is a beautiful bass.

I've never seen a COY used on an instrument that wasn't produced during that year. eg - a c64 in Sea Green. That said, unless it's one of their factory one offs, it seems unlikely we'd see a C series in Monty Brown etc.

To my knowledge, there was never a fretless v63, not sure why they'd do a c64 like that. As Paul points out, we can't be absolute. Personally, I like when they play in the factory. It only leads to better things down the road.
