Hmm, I thought the B series basses had the shedua strip down the neck. :?

From looking at the one pictured in the advert announcing the B series you would seem to be correct!

But I have a feeling that there was not much design consistancy - John Hall has said that the whole B series was a poorly conceived marketing disaster that happened while his father was under going medical treatment and before he rejoined the company in 1983...

I think the real B series instruments are from mid 1982 (the ad came out in late spring I think) to the late spring of 1983...

The stereo outputs on what was originally a mono bass is but a case in point...

Course in the absence of more examples it is hard to say... The only B series instrument I ever saw in person was a 1982 320B at Long and McQuades in Toronto circa the fall of 1982.
