Some weeks back, a well-known seller had a 620/12 in Amber Fireglo for sale on eBay, the body of which closely resembled this colour. Although the guitar had amber fret-markings, I did question whether it really was AFG as I had never seen this dark reddish-brown tint at the perimeter. I was assured that it was indeed AFG - though I must say that it bore little resemblance to my own 660/6 AFG, which would have been produced about the same time (2006/07), but is a much lighter colour (sorry, UK spelling), closer to a honey tint.

I suppose this just proves that Ric colours do evolve over time and that every guitar has its own unique characteristics. This is one of the reasons why we love them!
