My mid-90's band, Pilot used to bring down the house with this one (we had a girl singer, and she did a great job. Craig, the other guitar player played the solos and fills-and SMOKED! I never cared for synths in blues tunes, but this one and "Story of the Blues" handle it well.

Yes he did sell Peter Green's 59 Les Paul. IIRC Gibson made Gary a custom guitar that he began using instead.

I chatted with a friend in Ireland today who was a good friend of Rory Gallagher and of course knew Gary Moore. They are reporting over there that Gary will be interred near his home in Brighton, England.
That's a bit of a shock in some ways, since most of us expected him to be taken back to Ireland for his funeral, but in retrospect his two sons live near Brighton so maybe that's the logic.
