I was hoping that I would open my cases this morning and my '67 4005WB and '73 4001 would look brand new again!

Since that didn't happen perhaps a 4004/5Cii in Jetglo with chrome hardware would be nice.

Jeffrey, when I ordered my 4004Cii5, I wish I could have ordered it in Jetglo with chrome hardware. Even better if RIC would have offered it in a translucent black finish.

I'd wish for a 4001C64S and for the factory to refinish my 4005 in Montezuma Brown (at my expense, naturally).

I would wish for my '84 AzureGlo 4003S to magically reappear. The only two regrets in my life are letting my marriage fail and trading that bass in before I could fully appreciate it. They'd have to take my Cheyenne I and 4003S/5 DG out of my "cold dead hands"

My list of wants are:

1. That "quilted" 4004C II with the contrasting head wings

2. A Sea Green 4003 or 4003s

3. A 4004 five-string (yeah, I know, take a number and check back in a couple of years)

4. Maybe a 4002 someday

5. And a Monte Brown 4003 (it's on order!) with vintage toaster.

I'd like to have Rickenbacker refinish my 4001v63 in Monty Brown(at my expense of course), but then they'd have to make me a 4001v63 MG to replace it(again, at my expense). Ain't dreaming fun!

How about a re-issue 1957 RIC 4000 in FG and MG. Is 57 the year I'm looking for? Or is it 58? I think it is 57. I saw one at the Music Experience in Seattle.

How does a 4002 sound compared to a 4001/3? I always wondered if the pickup placement and the wood used make a significant difference in the sound.
