My Feb '67 4005WB has a short pole toaster in the neck position, same as that on my March '67 330.

Short pole toasters were phased out in mid '66, so I would expect a short-pole toaster on a '67 bass.

The extra pickup in my desk is from a '66 Rick and is short pole. Keep in mind that as parts are phased out, they can still be found on later instruments, even if earlier instruments are made "the new way"!
