Once more, thanks for the comments guys! All great stuff to hear.

I think everyone hinting at it being aged white might be on to something... the edges of the bass are more like an olympic white thru natural wear... and there's a chip in the finish on the neck which looks far more white than the rest of it. I dont think playing in smoky bars for most of its life helped it keep much of the pure white finish! :wink:

Steve, it was white. There are jetglos out there that now have a green cast to them because of the yellowing of the conversion varnish.
