yeah it appears that most people are asking about $2200 for the 12 string version

It's only a couple hundred bucks more than your $2000 budget and it seems to be exactly what you want. I say go for it! FWIW, brand new single bound 360/12 Ricks are going for around $2200 new these days, too. I bought my single bound 360 nine years ago when they were much less expensive.

yea but I kinda want the 24 frets and the ric-o-sound. I've got a bit more cash now, and I'm applying for a job, so I'm not too worried about money now. I'm just really waiting for a 360 wb/12 to be posted. There is one up on ebay, but its damaged. maybe if anyone here wants to sell theirs, I can now go as high as $2200.

Good choice Brandon.
Here's what you want in the UK. £1500 is nearer to $2400 though. He may post to you or even negotiate on price, worth checking out. Good luck.

I can tolerate a little staining (...it's my age)

A belated welcome, Brandon!
If a 24-fret double-bound guitar is what you want, I recommend that you just stay patient. A number of us on the Forum cruise various 'for sale' websites. When I know that someone is looking for something in particular, I make a mental note of it so that if I see such an item, I can report back and let the potential buyer know that one is out there.

actually, a member here sent me an email last night, he offered me one for $2300 and he's going to send some pics today. Its the same as the one on the UK ebay, but with toasters instead of high gains. I will report back here tonight!

I've never bought anything from Craig, but I can safely say you can't go wrong with him. He'll give you a great deal.

I have, and he's definitely one of the "good guys". No worries there...
