Yup, I dropped to D on my 2011 4003. I upped the string diameter to .112 from .106 (Circle K's). Sounds and feels great!! We recently went down to Eb,Ab,Db, Gb for most everything we play. I use a Whammy DT pedal to drop the one semitone instead of screwing with my set ups. So far so good!

The D'adarrio EXL165 set feels great tuned to EADG or DADG. 45 65 85 105
I like the exl170 for standard. Those are 45 65 80 100, but dropping to D was too floppy.
All sets have thickness/tension stats and aren't usually expensive.

Well, alright already...its Millersport, not Millersburg!
